Hunting knife "Avarga"

In the new hunting knife "Avarga" the emphasis is on the functional side of the object, it is very concise in its design, but at the same time it has a bright national expressiveness.

Such a minimalist plastic solution creates the image of a “hero” - the winner of the competition in the Buryat national wrestling “bukhe barildaan”. The pommel is adorned with an image of the characteristic shape of the national hat “malgay”, in which athletes go to competitions; the wide handle of the knife seems to convey the strong build and remarkable strength of the Buryat wrestler, and the handle ends with a guard, on which is stylized, in just three lines, the traditional attire of the wrestler is depicted - short shorts “shuudag” and an invariable attribute of this struggle - the behe belt.

The knife has a convenient bracket into which a lanyard is tied for the hand. The bracket was made in the stylized form of a lotus, as a symbol of good wishes to its owner, because since ancient times it was believed that the knife has a protective effect, some functions of a talisman.

All the plastic and the shape of the knife demonstrate masculinity: the laconic line that draws the image, the dark dense color of the wood in the handle and, finally, the unusually wide blade and the “false blade”, which create additional planes, emphasize the edges of the blade, due to which a chiseled, strict image is formed. and the overall brutality of the composition is further enhanced.
