The knife «Crow» is characterized by the harmony between the inlay and the artistic decision. The streamlined shape of the piece brings to the image a dynamic and sense of flight on airflows. The textured surface of the bird’s head strives to cut off any unnecessary details, which is inherent in Zhigzhit Bayaskhalanov’s style. Instead of realistic wings being depicted, the artist uses short streaks, imitating the plumage of a crow. Conventionality often limits expressiveness, but in this case, it serves to unfold the imagery in a specific artistic way.
