Sculpture «By the water» (nickel)

Movement is balanced by a state of rest. If the sculpture «With a fair wind» is dedicated to the unrestrained impulse, «By the water» is it’s reverse side. Meditative features of composition could be seen in humbly bowed head laying down to the river. Appeasement is expressed by the moment when horse is recovering powers from the source. Soon the steed will take off running and will rush through the tall grass to undiscovered lands. But right now the horse escaped beyond flight of time and crouched to the peaceful flaw of life, in which is only possible to admire the beauty and grace of free creation.
