Knife composition «Falconry»

The composition «Falconry» is a knife inside the vertical rack, which also serves as a scabbard. The image created by Zhigzhit Bayaskhalanaov embodies the moment when hunters spot the prey. Hearing its approach, the man and the bird turned the heads to the sound’s direction.

The relief on the scabbard continues the scene by depicting the falcon gripping the animal in the claws. The artistic decision helps viewers to see two stages of hunting: tracking and catching.

The handle made in the form of the hunter in the lightweight armor, allowing to be moving. On the scabbard’s two sides are fastened the falcon and the equipment: the quiver, the bow, and the arrows. The bow and the arrows can be pulled out for looking at them closely.
