On the territory of the marble quarry that has not been exploited since the last millennium, Zhigzhit Bayaskhalanov, a sculptor and gunsmith who creates sculptures and knives with national flavor, will work for a month. This time, the creation of his hands should be a white marble bull.

The art project is only part of the upcoming transformations that will affect this corner of the Pribaikalsky National Park in the coming years, says Ekaterina Slivina, Deputy Director of the Reserve Baikal Federal State Budgetary Institution:

“Transformation of space, perception, attitude to the place where you live and where you like to come and admire the beauty of Baikal. An unusual day off in Buguldeyk, at the Marble Quarry, beloved by many photography lovers. Today's opening is the beginning of a very large process to change this place and transform it into a landscape park, which will allow not only to create and equip the show object, but also to regulate and control the flow of tourists, to preserve the fragile beauty of Baikal nature.”
